Shown above: 12" solid pecan cake plate. The shaped handles and the dome which is recessed into the surface allow for safer transportation. The tung oil finish is food-safe. The dome is dishwasher-safe, and the plate is not.

The dowel joinery is hidden internally, while the large mortise-and-tenon joinery and endgrain is exposed at the bottom of the base. Finished in danish oil.
